Enter your current pay, a target and the market range you have seen, and the tool estimates a suggested raise band, a target anchor to aim for and a few talking points. The results are approximate figures, not an offer and not career, HR, legal or financial advice; real negotiations depend on your role, your employer's policy and your local market.

How to Use the Salary Negotiation Helper
Enter your current salary, then optionally a target and the low and high end of the market range you have researched. Choose the leverage you think you have and press Calculate. The estimate updates as you type.
How the raise band is set
Competing offer gives the widest band, around 8% to 15%.
Scarce skills and strong performance give narrower bands.
No special leverage gives the most conservative band.
The anchor
The suggested anchor is the higher of your target and the midpoint of the band, so you never ask for less than a reasonable figure. Use the anchor as the number you say out loud, and treat the band as your acceptable range.
Before the meeting
Research the market first, write down two or three concrete wins with numbers, and decide in advance what you will say if the answer is no.
Features
Suggested raise band that widens or narrows with your leverage
A target anchor that never falls below the midpoint of the band
