How to Use the Resume Builder

Enter your details in the three steps on the left, and the preview on the right updates as you type. When it looks right, press Print / Save as PDF and choose "Save as PDF" in the print dialog to export a clean copy.

Step 1 — Personal details

Your name, a short headline, and your contact details. The headline should name the role you are targeting, for example "Product Designer" or "Junior Data Analyst".

Step 2 — Experience

Write one role per line in the form Company | Role | Dates | What you did. The part after the third pipe becomes the description. Lines with fewer than three fields are ignored, so you can leave gaps without breaking the preview.

Step 3 — Skills

List your skills separated by commas. They appear in a single tidy line under the Skills heading.

Tips

• Keep it to one page unless you have many years of experience.
• Start each bullet with an action verb and add a number where you can.
• Re-check every date and spelling before you print or send.
